According to the first post-lockdown survey by Irish Business Against Litter, carried out by An Taisce, of 40 areas around the country, Leixlip came 2nd in the Anti-Litter League Rankings. Portlaoise bagged themselves first place.
Despite a rise in litter during the pandemic due in part to discarded PPE and more outdoor activities we’ve managed to keep the litter levels down and are considered cleaner than European norms!
